I am going to keep it simple and real.
Do you want comprehensive Health Care? Do you want our country to re-invest in the environment and infrastructure? Do you want a more sane foreign policy that would yield long term stability? Do you want an effective climate control policy?
If the answers are yes, the next question is, how come we liberals/progressives are virtually silent as the far right republicans aggressively try to thwart the mandate President Obama received election day? A vast and diverse electorate sent Obama and other elected officials to Washington to bring Change We Believe In.
As frequently stated, the election was the easy part; governing, law making and new policy development remains the hard part. Yet, we can not expect legislative success if we do not continue to participate in the process. The stakes are too high!
